A Fighter’s Chance is a non-profit organization established to assist disabled children and teenagers in winning the battles and obstacles they face in their everyday lives through help from the MMA world. Founded by Shane Lee, who has Cerebral Palsy himself, this organization focuses on creating an avenue of therapy (both mentally and physically) through mixed martial arts training or the MMA family finding ways to fulfill a need in a young person's life. Whether the help comes from a fan, fight league, school, or an MMA superstar, Shane believes that the MMA family he is a part of will join together to change and create victories in many lives.

Shane can make these statements with confidence. When diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, he was given little hope in competing in life much less in MMA. However doctors didn’t credit one avenue of therapy: MMA. His life was dramatically affected when he found Mixed Martial Arts and the wonderful family of people within, and surrounding, the sport. With the continuous support of his family and friends Shane has made a vow to show others they too have “A Fighter’s Chance!”
